We are heading on a beach vacation soon, and I want to make sure I'm well protected from the sun. I was thinking of getting some sort of hat to wear while lounging by the pool/beach to protect my face a bit more and so I can read without squinting. The thing is, I never wear hats...so I need some tips on picking one out so I don't look silly! I'm open to all ideas.

I think u r more self-conscious because it's u. but I'm sure u will rock whatever u wear. Baseball caps always look good.

@Bao: make sure when you try them on you wear your hair like you plan to on vacation otherwise the had might not fit as well and you will be less likely to wear it

I wear a bucket style hat, my current one is actually a rain hat.

Yes... Huge brim floppy sun hats! I don't care what I look like or what other people think... I want sun protection for my face/neck and being able to see! But they're actually pretty fashionable, to me at least!
