I have to share: Grayson stopped breathing last night

I also talked about this with DH, and I'm still torn on buying a sensor monitor (though I likely will....) but we did discuss it.

We also discussed infant CPR, and I was mortified to realize (like mslipgloss!) that I didn't remember it. DH takes a class every year to remain certified (he is an electrician), so he knows - but I'll be home more than him.

We are signing up for a baby care/infant cpr class asap!

Glad to hear baby is doing okay!

oh my Gosh @ecogirl.... how terrifying!!! I never really thought those monitors were necessary but now I'm thinking I want one for the next baby. p.s. I was giggling a little at the thought of you clutching your breasts and belly while you ran! oh my gosh though. I hope you are doing ok and I'm SO GLAD grayson is ok!!!!!

I am so glad that you all had that monitor! What a scary story! I told my husband about this. We were going to get the regular Angelcare monitor, but we are going to return it and get the one with the sensor.

Well, I hate to say it but I can add to @ecogirl's experience...

Our movement monitor alarm went off at 2:30 this morning. By the time we got to the room, she was breathing again, but I'm so freaked out.

Anyone who is debating getting this monitor should go for it.

I'm glad that baby Grayson is ok!

I wanted to post a gentle reminder to all of our members that Hellobee is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment! I urge all of our members to get trained and certified in Infant and Child CPR! I took a Red Cross course, and it was very helpful... here's a link for more information.
