DH and I met freshman year of college in the summer. Started dating that November. Never broke up once; been together for almost 14 years!

We broke up for about a year after 15 months of dating. It was a very good thing for us - I had some learning to do.

took several breaks. I think we broke up 3 times, the longest time being 6 months....we both had a lot of growing up to do. I think those break ups spanned about a 1.5 years...Altogether it's been about 4 years off and on. So glad we are over that part of our relationship & I'm so glad we got back together!

Well, we weren't really dating at the beginning, we were friends with benefits gone wrong. Once we were a thing, we stayed a thing.

We broke up for about 9 months in college after we had been dating for almost 3 years. It was supposed to be a real breakup, not just a break....but obviously we ended up back together!

No breaks for us! Same as @Mrs. Bird - we started out friends with benefits and it just kind of spiraled from there

We had a break for 3 days? It was when we first started going out then I realized I missed him way too much and we got back together and have been together ever since. It's almost been 9 years now!

DH and I started dating at 17/18 and right around the time we started college. We weren't that serious and with college and both of us growing apart, we broke up for 9 months after 3-4 years of dating. When we got back together, he proposed within 6 months!

no breaks, but then again there wasn't much time, we got married a week shy of our 1 year dating anniversary

We broke up for a year, but I don't like to call it a break. At the time it seemed permanent, and we both tried to move on. I dated other people. It certainly wasn't dramatic or anything like that, we just both had some growing up to do. It all worked out in the end.

We had a break up before we got back together and engaged shortly after. Such drama

We never took a break before getting married. Granted, we only dated 13 months before marriage so there wasn't much time for one.

I don't know if I would call it a break, but we first dated when I was 15, stayed together for 3 months, then broke up and didn't really talk again until I was 18. We've been together since then with no breaks.

We didn't have time for a break; we met, started dating and got married within 7 months.

We've been together 15 years so there have definitely been breaks because...you know... high school. Not since then though. We were just babies!

It took awhile for us to get together; we were friends first. But when we did, it all progressed pretty quickly. No breaks.

He was my first real BF in high school (age 15) and we broke up after about 6 months. We started dating again 13 years later and haven't been apart since!
