I've heard they're awesome, but I've also heard they aren't worth the money. Personally, I think it would be awesome to try it out when LO is a little older.

We haven't! We're definitely taking one when the kid(s) get older though.

I made hubs promise me that we'll go when the kid(s) are old enough to enjoy it. Maybe in about 5-8 years?

I'm interested to hear the answer to this! We're planning a family vacation for next spring or early summer, and debating between Disney World or Disney Cruise. We go to WDW every year, so the cruise would be new.

I went on the Disney cruise with my family when I was 18 and is was one of my favorite vacations. The crew is so amazingly nice. We were getting a little sick of going to Disney world so we did the cruise to change things up. I wouldn't do it until kids are old enough to a) like Disney characters and b) enjoy all the awesome islands and can do at least some of the excursions. My little sister was 6 at the time and she loved it. It is fairly expensive but it's much better for kids than say a carnival cruise which tends to be lots of drunk people since they start serving booze at 8am!
Anyways, I would definitely recommend the Disney cruise and hope to take my kids when they are old enough.

@duckduckkristen: sounds fun! we'd be going with a 6-9 month old, depending when, but I'm totally okay with missing a few things and having a flexible schedule for LO. we'd be going with my parents and siblings, as well..and likely my aunt and cousins. my dad says food is included so that factors in to the price as well! decisions, decisions!

No, but I'd love to one day!!!
My parents booked us to go on a Disney Cruise when I was 10 years old, but then we had to cancel because we found out my mom was preggers with my little sister. I was sad (at the time) She was a high-risk pregnancy, 42 yrs old and 5 prior miscarriages!

Loved the Disney cruise, easily the best cruise I've ever been on. Food is amazing, staff is incredible and its just all around one of the nicest boats out there. When we went I was 19 and my sister was 21 but we still had a blast. You don't need to be a kid to feel like a kid

No, but we considered going for our honeymoon. We plan to go when we have kids.
