Hellobee Boards

A friend from high school and her son (he's 2 months older than LO). They came over and it was fine. My friends personality can err on the obnoxious side and she's a little loud so LO kept asking me to go quietly play with her. I asked her if she wanted her friends to leave and she said yes lol she's never acted that way woth guests over before. But it was fine. I would do it again, maybe.

We have a play group of moms and babies from a mommy and me class when they were all about 2 months old, and we've kept it up for nearly two years. So we met at a wading pool and splash pad this week. It was really fun, but sometimes I prefer play dates at houses where the kids can't run away and the moms can actually chat more!

I had one a few days ago with a mom who I met through baby wearing. We went to a museum and the kids had a blast. We had fun too, but spent most of the time chasing the toddlers away from things they weren't supposed to touch.

Tuesday after school 3 other moms and I took the kids to Zaxby's and then two of us continued on to our girls' soccer practice together. The kids were insane at dinner (we had 4 moms covering 5 toddlers and two infants. Whoa.) but we all had a blast. These are our day care friends and we are all together all the time. The parents are having a dinner party Saturday night too.
