Do you trust recommendations from Hellobee bloggers and board members? Also: have you bought anything off of a Hellobee recommendation... and if so, how did it turn out?

I bought the UppaBaby Vista because of @Mrs.Wagon and I have a number of things on my registry because of HB (miracle blanket, Vicks ear thermometer among others)

Sure do...I ended up getting one of the bath tubs that was on the guide, nosefrida due to recs on the board, as well as Braun thermoscan again due to a guide!

Yes, i bought a coobie bra and love it. I registered for a Nosefrieda because i saw a lot of ladies rave about it on here. I chose an ergo over a baby bjorn because of how many HB-ers said the bjorn killed their backs.

Yes definitely! The infant tub, Mama's milk sling, nipple cream, breast shells (that was/is a lifesaver that there would be no way I'd know about), nursing tanks and nursing bras, bottle drying rack, pumping bra.

@pastemoo: i'm with you on the ergo. I want one so bad! They are giving them away on FB all month. One a day! I need to get to a computer to register tomorrow.

@pastemoo: if you "like" ergobaby on facebook, it will give you a link on how to sign up! It's a different carrier each day that they're giving away in August. I tried to register on my phone, but there was a glitch!

Yes, I am so thankful for all the recommendations being a first time mom! So far I've bought a Snoogle ( love it) and the Coobie bra ( Like it so far), I've also bough the bella band ( it's okay, I didn't know much about them but saw alot of women bought it)... I'm sure there will be more to buy...

Sure did! I bought four Coobie bras, a babyhawk, and the Freestyle pump. DS doesn't care for long stretches in the Babyhawk but I have no complaints. I have complete faith in the Hellobee community.

Everything EVER that I have bought and/or registered for, I learned about on HB. I pinned the newborn essentials blog posts, and all the blog posts about "things I could have done without" or "A real registry" and at the end the new mom gave feedback on all of the items. SO GREAT.
I especially love how on the blog posts, the items were linked to Amazon. I just added them all to my Amazon registry or bought them.
There's also a lot of stuff I learned about just chatting and reading on here. Everyone is so amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. 3 months ago I didn't know what an Aden & Anais swaddle was, or anything about strollers, and now I feel like I have a MUCH better handle on what it's going to take to make this little baby girl happy!

I came here for carseat recommendations! I am still on the hunt for one.
I'm definitely going to be making one of the DIY activity wallets for DS when he's older.
I almost bought the Baby Bjorn Bouncer that Mrs. Bee recommended, but I got one for free. I was kinda disappointed cause I really wanted it!! lol
I REALLY want to get the wood blocks Mrs. Bee recommended too (http://www.hellobee.com/2011/09/22/charlies-favorite-toys-3-months/)
I also have my eye on the owl luggage tags that Mrs. Stroller used in her sons room (she used the elephant ones).
And I pinned the first shoes post for when Cobi starts walking.
Oh! and I am IN LOVE with the bentos and pinned them all so that I can get them when Cobi is older.

I haven't, but only because my son's older and we did a lot of the gear purchases before the site launched...ohhh, and we're also overseas, so for some of the big gear, the models and brands aren't available.
If I were pregnant now, I'd be in big trouble though, that's for sure!

Yes I have bought nosefrida snot sucker, vicks rectal thermometer, coobie bra, lansinoh storage bags and lanolin, nail clippers by safety 1st and a lot of other things I cant remember. The only main purchase that I was disappointed with was the miracle blanket. Because it didnt work for us

I am getting my Ginger Epiphanie bag in the mail tomorrow. I have wanted that bag for months bc of hb rec. I am over the moon.
