One of the guys that absolutely broke my heart into shreds used this...But it was for real bad timing and I don't believe it was just a line. I fell in love fast, he was still heartbroken over his previous girlfriend and was about to move halfway across the country. IT was so sad!

There was a guy I was in love with throughout all of middle school and most of high school and it was totally timing. We had both made commitments not to date while we were so young and before we could make a marital commitment. So our "relationship" was a weird one. We really liked each other but didnt want either to get hurt so we avoided a relationship talk... Then I started dating his cousin, and he was sooooo mad. Omg it was awful and our relationship wasn't the same after that.

I had a guy use this, but it truly was bad timing. He was 28, I was 20. We had great chemistry but we were just at completely different places in our lives. It was an awesome short relationship that taught me so much about myself and the type of person I wanted to be with. I think things happen for a reason. if I hadn't dated this guy I wouldn't have moved to the area I live in now and I wouldn't have met my husband!

Not quite the same thing, but I met this guy when I was 18 and totally fell for him but he had a GF at the time. There was something there, but we both shelved it. Then 2 years later when he was finally single, I had a BF. For a long time, I thought of him as "the one that got away"... until I met DH of course!
