I had fainting spells when I was younger and I was in a bad car accident last year so I've taken 3 rides to the hospital in my life!

Thankfully, never for me. Once I rode with someone else though, it was a weird experience. Luckily everything turned out just fine!

I passed out and had a seizure in the middle of a business meeting when I was in my early 20s. When I woke up the paramedics were there. I took an ambulance to the hospital and they did a cat scan. I think I was just really stressed out and had high blood pressure.

Yes, but only once. I got a bad head injury trying to break up a fight when I worked at a group home. I was hit in the forehead with one of those metal three hole punches. I had to have a neck brace and be lifted onto a stretcher. I don't remember much since I had my glasses off but I know all the bumps in the road hurt.

I haven't ever had to, thankfully. I do have a cousin-in-law who is a paramedic though, so I hear a lot of stories and experiences form him, and he gives me random tips sometimes. I'm allergic to penicillin so he bugs me to get a medical bracelet.

Once... I was a junior in college and I woke up one morning in my dorm room and I couldn't move. I could barely get my phone to call my dad at work, who then called university health services because I couldn't even get to my computer to look up their number. When the paramedics came into my room they had to lift me onto the stretcher because I couldn't even stand up. It ended up being a really bad case of food poisoning. I threw up for 3 days straight and lost 10 pounds! To this day I still have no idea what gave me such bad food poisoning.

Yep, after a car accident when i was nineteen. it was no fun.

I had an alletgic reaction to a new medication when I was pregnant with DS and I ended up in preterm labor. I was home alone so I had to call 911 to come get me. I actually knew one of the paramedics which was really nice and a big comfort to me since I was freaking out at the time.
