A couple times...once they did a story about my dad and I. He's written me probably 1000 letters. Last year the news caught me and interviewed me about traffic patterns in our town.
I found out yesterday they want to do a story on Dd's birth. Not sure I want to do it.

A few times - It helps that I come from a country with only 4 million and grew up doing theatre stuff. I was interviewed a couple of times, played (and badly lost) a computer game and sang with a choir in commercial breaks over Christmas and was part of a troupe that would do events like parenting week.
I have a few times when living abroad/ travelling as well. The strangest was in Japan, where I happened to be walking past a place a tv show was filming and they suddenly stopped people moving past. I happened to be the only non-Asian person in the fairly large crowd, so they dragged me out and interviewed me about sushi. Some of my students saw it and thought it was cool. To this day I have no idea who they actually were - I just wanted to get to my train!

Possibly? In college a friend of mine was on the crew of One Tree Hill. We were visiting and my (then)bf and I were extras on the show, sitting in the Karen's cafe. The thing is, neither of us watched the show at the time so I have no idea what episode we were supposedly on. Years later I watched the whole series on netflix but I couldn't remember anything about the scene we sat in on and I kept forgetting to pay attention to the cafe scenes, so I have no idea if we ever actually made it on screen or not.

I used to work at my high school and college TV stations, so I've been on local access cable a whole bunch, if that counts. Haha. I've also been in live studio audiences for a few talk shows and ended up on TV that way.

a few years ago my church put on a multimedia drama and asked me to play the main character. the trailer played during commercials and they plastered posters with my face on it all throughout the city. it was really weird.

Several times when I was younger (mostly presenting checks at telethons). Once about 4 years ago they did a segment about underwater mortgages. I was trying to sell my house after getting married so our realtor had them interview me.

I wouldnt be surprised if I was in the background of Teen Mom once or twice. Jenelle graduated with my little sister and I remember seeing cameras at the graduation ceremony following her around. I've also been around her several times (at town parades, festivals, etc) when they were filming. yeahhhh it's a pretty small town.

@matador84: I don't remember being on tv except for broadcasted community events as a child in a small town..at least I know I've been in the paper, just assuming news too. I've definitely caught dh on the news several times!

When I was little, I was on Romper Room. All I remember is a song about exercising.
Part of me was also briefly on The Daily Show. They've changed their opening, but they used to zoom in to a glass sculpture of the title of the show. They had me hold it on my lap and they zoomed in. Awkward. My thighs did not need to be under a magnifying glass on national TV!

I was on the today's show, the early show and NY1 for my performances with Chubby Checker as a backup singer. It's all on YouTube. I was also on local Washington state television with my high school choir for a Christmas performance we did.

Usually just snippets from when they're at the courthouse to cover a case I'm on. DH's family is adorable and DVRs it every time to show me.
My favorite, though, was when some storm photography I took was used for the broadcast repeatedly that day so my name was mentioned a bunch...I also saw that on the in-laws' DVR. Haha.
