This happened to me for the first time last week in our apartment building and I was freaking. out. My recurring nightmare since childhood has been that I'm in an elevator and we're in a free fall. Fortunately the elevator stopped around the 5th floor but I was telling the guy stuck in the elevator with me that that was one of my biggest fears!
