I went to the Atlanta Olympics. Mostly I remember lots of lines, lots of heat, and not being able to get tickets to any of the events I actually wanted to see, ha.

I haven't, but I've experienced someone running by with the torch and that was pretty cool!

@Mrs. Yoyo: that's how I remember those Olympics as well! Ha!
It was fun and I did see a lot of fun events but I'm still bummed we couldn't get tickets to a single swimming event.

Yep! I went to 3 events when the SLC Olympics were here and also went downtown to shop and trade pins and the torch ran right through my neighborhood.

I wish! If they brought them back to Lake Placid I would definitely try to go...although I think I'd prefer to spectate summer games.

I went to a hockey game at the Vancouver Olympics! It was fun and I loved seeing all the people around.

I went to four with my old job - Athens '04, Torino '06, Beijing '08, Vancouver '10. I LOVED IT! It was a little different experience going to work rather than just to watch, but I got to enjoy a good amounts of events (while also working 12+ hour days for 20 straight days.)
I would love to attend a Games on US soil and/or experience it with hubs and the kids. My mom and sister came to Vancouver for a long weekend and I'm so glad they got to experience it!

I should have gone to Vancouver 2010 as we live not too far away, but I didn't get down because of work. A huge regret of mine, I should have made it happen. My sister and mom went, they said it was amazing!

I grew up near salt lake city, and my little town hosted a bunch of the skiing events, and all the bobsled, luge and ski jumping. We had the two weeks of the Olympics off school, so i went to a ton of events! It was so fun! I also worked in food service at the venues, so during breaks i could sneak out and see what was going on, including a few gold medal runs. It was a blast!

No, but I'd love to one day. I've visited the site/area when I'm in that particular city. I've seen Sydney, ATL, Salt Lake City, and Whistler.

Yes, my dad won the lottery system for the Atlanta Olympics - we saw the gymnastics portion with Keri Strug!

We went to the Olympics in Atlanta. We saw women's basketball - I think it was China vs. Brazil? Something like that. And then we got tickets to synchronized swimming team finals, which was AWESOME - I was a synchronized swimmer, so I was sooooo excited to be able to see that! We also scored tickets to the Gymnastics Gala, which is kind of a gymnastics free-for-all after all the competition ends. It was SO.COOL. We got to see all the gymnasts just go out on the equipment and do their routines or do just random fun stuff. Amazing. My mom bought the tickets for synchro and the gala from a scalper on the street, ha!
