Yes, I used to make it every Christmas! DH doesn't like it, though, and we've had a hectic past couple holiday seasons, so I haven't wanted to make it for just myself 
Maybe I will make a small batch tomorrow, though -- sans alcohol, probably, but it'll be tasty anyway.

Yes! Totally paranoid the whole time I was going to die of food poisoning but I was fine and it was yum
