Well, I do. I have had this little rash on my leg for a while now and I just thought it would go away. It didn't. I went all Dr Google on it and found it appears to be ringworm. Ew. So, I got some cream and am applying it daily, as the cream says.
Have you ever had it? How long did it take to go away?

I got it one time (on my upper arm) back in middle school; it was during the swimming week of gym class. It was just that raised, round...spot. My mom took me in and we got some kind of cream or something for it (hahaha, sorry, I'm REALLY not being very helpful here...), and I want to say it was gone in a week or two... Good luck!

My dad and my sister got it from the barn cats when my sister was little. It cleared up pretty quickly with the cream, if I remember right. Within a week or maybe two?
Check out your pets for it. It will make their hair fall out out in round patches (the cats looked hideous for awhile).

My cat gave it to me once....i had it ALL OVER. Because I'm a dummy and had NO IDEA what it was. It took a long time to go away b/c i had it so bad. I needed pills and cream. It sucked so bad! Make sure you wash your bedding in hot water frequently. The spores can live up to 18 months. A blacklight will show you where the spores are, too, because they flouresce green. it itched like mad. Man, it was a nightmare.

@Grace: haha I totally checked our dog for it and no spots on her yet. I have no idea where I got it from...so weird. Now I'm paranoid I'm going to give it to my 9 month old, though!!

@mediagirl: ugh I did last year and it grossed me out! No clue where it came from. The doctor gave me a prescription cream and it went away quickly and for good.

I got it from my cat a few years ago - the vet recommended anti fungal cream. As I recall it never spread, and my spot probably cleared up within a week or two. (The cat had to get some intense treatments though.)

I've had it! I had it on my arm. You have to go to the doctor and they will prescribe you a creme to put on it. It's anti-fungal or anti bacterial

Ugh, yeah. Many times. I first thought it was just a normal rash or eczema outbreak, which I get occasionally. I had to go to the doctor for an unrelated thing a few weeks (maybe months?) later, and she barely glanced at it and was like "oh yeah, that's ringworm" and gave me an anti-fungal cream to use 2x/day. It went away very quickly after that.

Yes, got it while teaching little ones. If the cream doesn't work (didn't for me) I recommend hydrogen peroxide. Cleared it up super fast.

My daughter had a spot on her face this summer, I think my sister gave it to her. It took awhile to go away even after the cream, a couple weeks maybe. We kept putting the cream on for a bit even after it went away because if we'd stop it'd reappear.

@mediagirl: are you pretty sure it's ringworm? I thought for sure that DD had ringworm once since it goes around the day cares, but when I took her in, they said it was just eczema and to apply hyrdrocortisone.

@T-Mom: well, I'm not a doctor but I pretend to be one when I google things. 
If it doesn't start to go away within a week, I may stop by a Minute Clinic to see if they will look at it. I hate to waste the money on a doctor's visit just to have them say, "Yup, keep doing what you're doing..." I got this cream that is for ringworm at the pharmacy so, we'll see if it works.

Ugh, itchiest thing ever! I caught it off a shelter cat at work a few years ago, and ended up giving it to my cat, we were both so miserable! My husband quarantined us downstairs for a couple of weeks. It was so bad I had to get prescription strength cream to get relief.
