I got one after my c-section with the twins. I think they said it was surgery induced anemia. I had to get one blood transfusion.

Yes, after I was in a bad car accident. I needed more blood before they could safely perform surgery.

It was a consideration when I gave birth due to a hemorrhage, but they deemed it unnecessary after keeping me under observation an additional 12 hours after giving birth.

Yes I had 2 after DS due to blood loss. I pretty much crashed after. It was pretty scary for a couple hours. They were afraid I ruptured my uterus during the vbac but thankfully I didn't.

Yes, I had two after giving birth and then two more two days later.

After my c-section. I hemorrhaged (and passed out cold on the OR table!) and because of the blood loss, said I needed one. No fun.
