I've had my heart broken twice. First was an intense love that ended abruptly and second was my serious relationship before hubs, which ended in a very bittersweet way. Sad!
You?

No. The only boy who's broken up with me I wasn't too upset about. He was one of those people who had to try really hard to be cool, and change who he was for other people. I didn't like that at all.... but he was pretty cute so I stayed with him. It was a high school thing.
I guess you could say my ex broke my heart just by being a jerk. I hated having to dump him, but he didn't give me much of a choice.

I guess so... Was a guy I was into but he just wasn't that into me. He cared about me but I guess he didn't see a future with me. We only dated about 3 mos but I was hung up on him for about a year. Didn't help that we ran in the same crowd for a bit. But boy,am I glad we didn't make it. Otherwise i wouldn't be with my husband.

Yes I had it broken twice, once in college and once right out of college. It took me awhile to move on from the college one, we tried to make it work for years and I finally pulled the plug after I met DH. I wasn't going to let this guy ruin another relationship, and thank goodness he didn't!

Yep, when DH and I broke up. The heartbroken feeling was really bad, but eventually (9ish months) we got back together and we were better than ever. Six months after we got back together, we were engaged.

@jessiejo17: I had a very similar experience! Was back and forth for last two years of college w/ college bf. Then, met now newlywed hubby my first year of law school and cut off all ties with the ex.

Once, but it was my first hs love... in hindsight, I'm glad I went through it and I'm a better woman for it We actually still keep in touch via the interwebs
As far as my last serious relationship before DH; he'd broken my heart on/off throughout the relationship; but I ultimately ended it after dragging it out for a good 6 months because "I felt bad."

Yes! It was the end of the school year while in college. I remember sitting in the airport on my way back to my hometown in tears. It was ridiculous!

@hunni: It was the best thing I ever did, but hard at the time. He would call and send messages on Facebook but I just ignored them all. I have ran into him a couple times but only said hi, he finally got the hint and has moved on himself.

Yes, twice. Once was a college relationship. Found out he was cheating on while I was recovering from surgery! UGH. The 2nd heartbreak was a guy that I dated for a year. He just decided he couldn't see a future with me. Completely blindsighted me.

Yes, although my biggest heartbreaks have been caused by friends and family, as opposed to a SO.

I've been very very hurt but since Wagon Sr. was my first love I've never technically had my heart broken.

Yeah, after I graduated from college, I had my heart broken by a guy I was way more into than he was into me. I realized later it wasn't real love. I have that with my husband.
