I asked my son Charlie to lie on top of me a few months ago... so he did, happily. It was something fun we would do; before I put him down, I would ask him lie on top of me and then I would hug him tight. Then I'd roll him onto the bed and put him down to sleep. It was our special little thing.

Well Charlie thought it was his special little thing too, and started trying to lie on top of his sister, Olive. She's not yet a size where he can lie on top of her without crushing her!

Boy did I learn my lesson! Never teach your kid to do something that you don't want them doing to their sibling (or to other kids!). I stopped doing it and shortly after, he stopped doing it too.
