I got one as a free sample when I bought my Nose Frida. I'm curious too if anyone has tried it!

Yes, and it really works. LO was so gassy, but medicine wasn't helping. The Windi immediately solved the problem!
Before I had kids, I would have been repulsed at the idea of this product and would have sworn I never use such a thing. Flash forward to a when LO was gassy and in so much pain and nothing else worked, so I got desperate and bought the Windi,

@Bluebonnet: Good to know! I was repulsed by the Nose Frida but it works so well!

i don't understand the windi! i get that it would allow gas out, but gas that causes pain would be farther up, not right down low in the rectum where the windi would be able to help expel it, so i'm skeptical that it could relieve real gas pains. i'd be curious to hear if ppl really felt it was effective, ppl on amazon sure sound convinced!

I read a hilarious review on the Windi... I think on amazon... think a dad who is advising everyone to step aside while using the Windi... not "downwindi"...

@mrs. wagon: LOL!
@mrs. bird: I'm assuming it helps them fart which relieves pressure. I know when I'm gassy after farting I feel better.
@Bluebonnet: LO2 is so gassy! She farts all the time and is always screaming in pain. I wonder if this will help my super fussy baby!

Anyone else used this? Thinking about spending the $

@regberadaisy: i have no idea about the windi, but wanted to suggest hylands colic tablets if you haven't tried them. they've mellowed out a handful of LOs i've nannied, maybe they'd help LO2. or maybe the windi will. i hope you find something so you all feel better soon! (not that you need a windi for yourself... i mean you'll feel better when LO2 feels better, you know what i'm saying! )

We used a qtip in Vaseline with my second. It helped relieve her gas and backups. She was crying out in pain one night and as soon as we got the gas/poop out she slept great again.

Yep, we used it. It was the only thing that worked with colic. Our LO just couldn't fart or poop in a way to feel less gassy. It got us through some tough nights early on.

I paid to overnight the windi and it does work!
Unfortunately it wasn't the magic cure all for us.

Do you just insert this into their bum and basically make them fart?!

I hear hylands colic tabs are amazing! Teething tabs were life savers for us!

@Nskillet: haha basically! You rub each side of their tummy downwards three times (alternating) to push the gas down. Then lift their legs towards their tummy then insert the windi.
Btw the light pressure rubbing downward really helps to assist them in farting as well!

@Nskillet: What @regberadaisy: said. We put baby oil on the tip when we did it.
