So today, I'm driving a different way to work than I normally do, and I drove over this bridge where there is a ton of construction, and as SOON as I come over the top of the bridge I see a police car and I knew I would get pulled over! I wasn't speeding for the normal limit, but since it was construction--even though no workers were present he pulled me over.

I'm definitely not a chronic speeder at all, and I haven't been pulled over in probably 4 years or more. I gave the officer my license and registration and ask soon as he asked me to sign, I was like, "Wait, am I signing for a ticket?" I totally pulled the "I'm having a baby in a month, please have grace and mercy on me, we are so broke card!" AND I GOT LET GO!! I literally couldn't believe it. I wasn't even crying or anything, just being totally honest with him!! Seriously y'all, this ticket would have been so expensive too! I felt so low for using an excuse, but definitely I'll be paying more attention in the future!
