I never have. My brother has before and sent me a pic of my nana's kitchen covered in suds!

I haven't, but answered "yes" because DH did one night after I told him I saw in a movie that you couldn't do that. I could not convince him so I told him to go for it but I would not be helping with cleanup.
Lo and behold...suds all over the kitchen floor. And I did not help clean it up.

Yes:( never knew the outcome and we were out of dishwasher detergent..such a big mess and lengthy clean up!

She let us (me and my sister) play in the bubbless that filled the kitchen and overflowed onto our deck:)
She taught me a lesson to take with me into adulthood: never use anything but designated dishwasher detergent! -

Friends of mine did when we were little. They were trying to help their mom....too funny!

Yes! I was in the middle of a phone call and glanced over to see a foam party had erupted in my kitchen in the middle of the day.

Did it in college once. Happened to be studying at the kitchen table and WOW, I thought that stuff only happened on tv!

Sure have! In college, I lived in an apartment with 4 other girls and they were the biggest slobs EVER. The dishwasher was fully loaded for about a week and I was annoyed that none of them had ran it. Once I realized we were out of dishwasher detergent, I thought whatever, I'll just toss a little dish soap in there.
BUBBLE FACTORY!
Definitely won't make that mistake again!
