I only did that once and it was while I was watching "Joe vs the volcano". I was soooo bored. I couldn't stand another second of the movie so my friend and i walked out. I usually sit and watch the whole thing, even if it's a boring. But this movie was THAT bad.

Oh, I almost walked out of a Quentin Tarantino movie. I think I walked out and stood by the entrance. Just couldn't handle seeing some of the scenes.

Yes, it was the Butterfly Effect and I was so scared that we left within the first 10 minutes. All I can remember is a really really scary little boy (maybe with a knife) and I was like yep, can't do this. My husband watched it much later and said it was a good movie, but I just couldn't handle it in the theatre!

Once. It was "Original Sin" with Angelina Jolie. I only made it about 15 minutes.
My sister and I went to see a Mandy Moore movie once where we saw the boom microphone in the shot twice. We said if it happened one more time we would leave, but I guess we never did.

I spoke to the DH because he has a better memory than me. I did walk out of Bruno.
But the one movie that he remembers that I was very upset about was the movie 'Deathproof' by Quentin Tarantino. Just realized that that's the reason why I can't watch his movies. That movie and the car scene traumatized and scarred me for life. It was just too much anxiety for me. This movie was 7 years ago. Lol! I don't curse that often but I apparently stormed from my seat and said "That's it! I can't watch this shit!" and walked out of the theatre. My DH even told me that I was so upset that I was in tears outside of the theatre. I don't remember crying but, wow, I can't believe a movie would cause such a dramatic reaction from me.
Looking back, it is funny and shocking that I reacted like that.
ETA: I do have say that DH and his friends are big movie goers. So we've seen a lot of movies. Like every blockbuster hit, action movie and superhero movie. I bet you that had I seen 'Deathproof' on TV in our house, I probably wouldn't have reacted that way but the big screen definitely made things worse for me.

I hadn't seen a Tarantino movie until Django Unchained and I was a little unprepared for how gory it was. I didn't walk out but I did spend significant parts of the movie with my hands over my eyes. Cannot handle that much violence and blood.

I really liked "Paris je t'-aime" and had high hopes for the NYC version, called "New York, I Love You"... I walked out on it though.
