Yes. I can't remember all the details it was over 4 years ago. We sent paper invites. I think we BBQed.

We're finally having one this summer. We moved a year ago.
I think DH is doing bbq type food. And because he is who he is, we've invited more than 100 people. (I finally had to say stop. We invited 500 to our wedding). I'm hoping people will spread out over the 6 hours and not all be here at once

We did something super informal. We had about 4 couples over, grilled, and sat out by the fire pit.

We did ours when we were more or less settled in. There was definitely a few boxes not unpacked and some rooms not fully setup, but eh! We invited our friends and family and had a cookout at home.

Sort of? We moved in around Thanksgiving and DD1's first birthday was end of April. So we had a big party.

Sort of. We moved in July and DS's birthday is in November. It was his first, so we had a big party and invited a million people (thanks to DH's family). Everyone was really curious about our house so we felt obligated to have a big party. For the food we had it catered by Wegman's - so some hot foods and cold platters. Plus cake, lol.

We had informal ones where we invited different circles over, mostly for BBQs since it was summer time.

I had one back when I bought my first house when I was single. It ended up being a fairly large party--maybe 35-40 people? I kept the french doors to the back patio open, so people flowed from the living room to the kitchen and dining area and out past the kitchen to the outside patio.
I provided tons of food--all appetizerish foods but enough to make dinner. And I bought a few bottles of wine, but I knew all my friends would also bring drinks, and sure enough I ended up with a glut of various alcohols after the party.
I specified no gifts.

We had an housewarming/engagement/Halloween party. we invited both family and friends. It was a open-house type party. I made lots of Halloween themed food. Mostly finger food, but plenty of it. I designed invites and we sent them out through Paperless Post. Lots of fun.

We moved into our house in November but didn't end up having a 'housewarming' party until May. One of the major reasons we loved our house was the huge backyard so we waited until we were settled and the weather was nice to have the party.
It was very informal and we had a BBQ.

We had one about 5 months after moving into our first house. We had about 60 people (family and friends) over for a very chill evening. We had a bar and a spread of middle eastern food.
