What have people said about your kids recently?
We get typical comments from daycare teachers about our daughter. They're normally "she's a good helper" and "she's a good girl."

Preschool teachers say that he's a super sweet kid and leads the others during clean-up time... HOW COME WE DON'T GET THAT AT HOME?!
DS2 gets called a girl, pretty frequently when we're out from strangers (and extended family )

DD sitter said the other day how smart she is
Ohhh she got called a boy today

The grocery store bagger said DS looked tired (he was), and then said it looks like DD is very loving sister (she had her arm around him and when the bagger said hi to them, she said "hi, this Bay" which is what she calls Blake now).

"He's huge!!" DS is 10.5 weeks old and weighs a little over 15 pounds and is 25 inches long. I don't think he's THAT big, but that's he comment we get everywhere. Someone even asked me if I was sure he wasn't 4 months old. Uh, yep...I'm sure!

Her daycare says she plays nicely outside - not crazy. She doesn't have to be watched every single minute.

Daycare tells me he's the only one who helps clean up. A total stranger in a store asked how old he was and when I said 2 she said "wow, he's TINY!" which kind of annoyed me, because he's not tiny! He's light, but average height.

Daycare told me they fight over who gets DS in their room because he is the most mellow and best sleeper. He can sleep through all the activity and lights- crazy.

I took her to the dentist with me on Monday. Said how cute and well behaved she was.

That she should see a psychologist. She was out of sorts, sick, is trying to drop her nap, and is adjusting to a new baby. I don't think it was a fair assessment.
DD2 gets compliments on her smile.
DD3 gets stares because of her size... And then I get comments about my vagina.

Just today we were out and we got a ton of comments. He's big/growing fast, he's so happy/smiley/social, and of course that he's handsome and sweet

DS is really tall, so we hear about that, but mostly people comment on his big eyes and crazy lashes. I hear at least one beautiful eyes comment about him every time we leave the house.
DD gets generic cute baby comments. Unless she's down. Then people comment on her mobility. 7 months. Crawling and trying to cruise

Her teacher said she's one of the best listeners in her class and is a role model even though she's one of the youngest

DD1 started a new school today. The teachers were amazed by her adjustment! Not a single tear, actively engaged, compliant, and so pleasant. Meanwhile, the second we got home, she threw a massive tantrum because she had to wash her hands

@yerpie110: wtf is with kids being perfect angels for everyone else and total jerks at home?!?
Most recent comment was on my daughter's beautiful curls. The comment we get most for my son is "oh that's a BRAND new baby" (he's 8 weeks so not that new but he was 2 weeks early and he's a peanut)

I get asked if my kids are twins nearly every time we are out and about and everyone also comments on their red hair.

Today, my daughter spent time with her former preschool teacher she hasn't seen for awhile because the teachers traded classes. Shee said to me, "I don't know how you did it! She was reading whole books, not just the little words but with big words too!"
It prompted LO to say proudly, "I can read!"
I felt so happy that LO actually wants to read in front of people now. Plus I loooove that teacher so hearing positive comments from her makes me melt. Usually LO shirks from reading aloud at home unless I 'force' her with incentives. She claimed she can't read yet to anyone who asked...until today.

Latest comment for lo1 was how her manners are so amazing. (3.5 years) And comment about lo2 was how laidback she is and barely makes peep! (5.5 months)

Such a happy baby, most often. It used to be, he's so alert. We also get comments on how tall or handsome he is. Someone yesterday said, he's real little boy. Family often say that there's no baby left in him, I.e., he looks older than he is.

Her whole life (all seven weeks of it ), everyone has commented on how alert she is.

That she has impressive thighs. She does - they are giant with so many rolls!

- Her hair is getting so light. She's turning blond! (Umm, no).
- She's so smart.
- She looks exactly like you. (Or my favorite, "You look like a big version of her")

"Look at that hair!" - says almost everyone who meets DD for the first time. I always want to say, "Yup, I've seen it." But really, for 9 weeks old, it is a lot of hair and it's a unique color, so I get it.

Today at our mom and baby yoga class, someone said "Her smile makes me want to smile!" which was super sweet. Another mom asked if her hair was grey (?)... it's a dirty blond. lol.

Lo's daycare teacher told me this morning that LO has the biggest heart of anyone in the class
pomelo / 5607 posts
@peaches1038: My 7mo is 26 inches and 16 pounds, so that seems pretty big to me! My LO is 30th percentile. But nothing wrong with a big healthy baby! And really, you might have forgotten how old your kid is or something?

We get constant comments on how blue her eyes are. Which seemed weird for a long time, since all babies' eyes are blue. And about how happy she is. She rarely cries, and when we're out she's usually fascinated by all the new sights, so she's always happy.

Daycare. Nothing good but perfectly normal for a 3.5 year old (who doesn't nap) potty training. It's annoying.

DD1 started preschool this week and her teacher told me she's quiet and sensitive but doing well. Her friends' mom loves to tell me how sweet of a friend she is. DD2 I have gotten, "she's wild!" (she is lol). DD3 generally only gets comments from people doubting her age because she's huge. DD1 and DD2 also get, "are they twins" on the regular
