"Look at those curls!" or "look at that hair!"
DS has longish hair at the moment and I've been keeping it out of his face with barrettes because he's been sick and it was getting in his snot, so people have been noticing. Also, he has these random curls that people always talk about. I have stick straight Korean hair and DH has straight/slightly wavy dark blonde hair, so I'm not sure where he's getting it either.

Comments are usually about how cute LO is or how pretty her hair is.
But most recently they have been more along the lines of, "Wouldn't it be great to have that much energy?" I appreciate them going that direction rather than more negative comments about her, ahem, activity level

People often comment on his vocabulary and speech, he's very wordy! He also gets called 'she' REALLY often!

@gingerbebe: that's so cute! I'd comment on his curls too, even though I have a curly LO and know how it feels, haha.

DH just told me that when he picked up DD from preschool, they told him she was lectured that day for eating all of the cheese. They had a plate of cheese slices for everyone at the table - she immediately grabbed all of it and ate it before anyone can even comment. Hilarious!

@gingerbebe: my toddler has wild curly hair too and I get comments about it all the time- but I love her hair and I'm kind of obsessed so I usually just respond with "I know! I love it!"
For the baby, recently a few people have told me she looks like me noir older daughter looks just like DH (only prettier) so it's surprising to all of us that she looks more like me.
For my 2 yo her teachers at her gym class comment on how much she talks and how funny she is.
The pediatrician said they are both perfect.

My kids are meeting a lot of people for the first time just now so there are many comments.
DD: How much energy she has, how petite age is. Everyone thinks she is hilarious. Lots of comments on her Canadian accent that she is already losing
DS: how happy and huge he is

@californiadreams: Nor did I until I heard her around all her very Yorkshire cousins and it really stood out. They love it and try copy her She is already losing it though, it makes me sad.

LO always has a good day at school according to his teachers. We get comments about how well behaved the kids are, especially my 2 year old. I tell them that the little one just puts on an act in public. He is a terror at home.

Usually daycare hasn't positive comments but this week we've heard "she just doesn't listen.". That's what we've been saying at home too.

Usually for DD1 it's she's so tall, and for DD2 that she's a good talker. DD1's teacher said the other day, she loves watching her face every time she learns something new, because she absolutely lights up. I love that her teacher delights in her!
