I bought some hoodies for LO from their new stuff. We're getting a ton of hand me downs soon, so I have to not shop at Carter's despite the urge.

Unrelated question: Why are Carter's cotton 12 month sleepers so damn tight? I get snug fit, but these are new and way too tight.

@mediagirl: That new collection is basically all horses! I saw it in our department stores but not at Carter's store or online yet.

Question: will BRU have this stuff? Or do they get their own Carter's stuff?

@Mrs. Pen: @rachiecakes: I thought so too until I had a girl!! I think I got unlucky though, because I just didn't like their last spring/summer season clothing. I'm not big on purple and they had a lot of purple. Oh, I'm also not big on neon and everything everywhere was all about neon this year! I was soooo excited to make my first Carter's trip officially shopping for a girl, and I wandered around and around and around and ended up with a few rompers I love, but that's it. This season does look like they've stepped it up quite a bit!

@mrs. wagon: I agree everything was neon for the summer. So I didn't buy too much.

@scg00387: what's the 10/25? And dang you shouldn't have told me that. I need to stop buying him clothes especially since it's still in the 90-100s here and doesn't get cold until November! ETA: Oh and I like the solid pack of body suits too! I had bought the stripes & solid ones last winter and loved them!

But yeah, I hear you on stopping clothes shopping. I feel a little more justified in Iowa - we've had a few mornings in the 60s where he needed pants and a hoodie!

@scg00387: aw I see. I usually wait to shop at kohls until I get a $10 off coupon in the mail. I try to justify it in that by the time cold weather comes around, most of the good stuff is gone or they're already bringing out spring stuff. I'm just hoping I'm guessing correct on his size.

We bought a ton of Carter's stuff for fall. We got the pink top and chambray top that someone else posted. We also got a ton of the long sleeve tops with the felt appliqués (birds, butterflies, hot air balloons) and the striped sweaters. I always get Carter's stuff for her play clothes and we have never bought a single piece with writing on it.

ETA: this is only about 1/3 of what we got from
Carter's this fall. We have a ton more shirts online and some others that I have to iron...and a bunch of the tops came with leggings. I stocked up at the 40% off sale

@grizz: So cute! What size did you end up getting?

DS is about 10 lbs and Carter's 3 month tops seem so big on him, even though their 3 month clothes are supposed to start at 8 lbs. Does Carter's generally run big, or do I just have a peanut?

@Pepper: Those are 3-6 month, or 6 month, as they've started labeling it now. C is in their 0-3 and still a little bit of newborn. I feel like their stuff is REALLY wide! And the 0-3 sleepers are way too long on him.
