I am flying with continental in the next couple of weeks and I looked everywhere on their site but they dont mention anything about weight limit of their carry on baggage. They only make mention of the size limit. Does that mean they dont weigh the carry on? I guess I have to call them and ask but I'm dreading holding on forever. If any has recently flown with them, what was your experience with weighing carry on luggage?

I think they're only concerned with the size of carry on luggage, but I'm not 100%.

I've never known an airline to specify weight restrictions on carry on, just checked bags. They don't care how heavy it is because you're the on that has to lift it!

Carry on is only size.

I've had carry on luggage weighed before, but not on Continental/United.
My carryons are typically super light, if I can't lift the bag safely, then I don't bring it.

I've flown Continental recently. Like all airlines, they don't care how heavy your carry-on is as long as you can lift it to put it in the overhead bin. You can have two carry-on items - something that goes in the overhead bin and something that will fit under the chair in front of you. You need to make sure the suitcase is a carry-on suitcase, no bigger than 22".
Side note -ladies, don't be that woman that carries her luggage on the plane and then expects someone to lift it for you!! Just check it if it is too heavy for you to lift above your head.

Thanks everyone. For other airlines I have used especially for international flights they have weighed my carryon as well as my checked bags thats why I wanted to be sure.
