@mrbee have you had anyone else experiencing this? This has been happening only with HB sites for me over the past week. I'll open up a tab or two and they never load so I have to close the tab and re-open a few times before it will load. It doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be irritating.
Or is it possible this is a my computer issue and not an HB issue?

I'm on chrome on PC at work and it's okay; it's slow sometimes only b/c I have a billion tabs open.

@LovelyPlum: yeah, i kept going back and forth, but it's my off season for work and i figured now was the time to update rather than in the fall... will take some getting used to and hopefully i can sort it all out before my season starts!

Yes, this happens to me. When Chrome is "thinking" about opening the thread, it usually says something at the bottom that seems odd, but I can't remember exactly what. I'll make a note the next time. It doesn't happen on any other sites.

I had this problem a couple weeks ago! @mrbee: recommended clearing the cookies and cache (I think!) and it's been great since!

@fussygal: It was doing the same for me. Once I cleared my cookies and cache (was a while for me too) it's improved quite a bit!

@fussygal: The other thing to maybe try is to disable all of your Chrome Extensions, and see if that helps! Browser plugins can often interfere with websites...

Hasn't been slow for me.
I second Mr. Bee's suggestion of disabling Chrome extensions.
Also, have you tried it in Firefox/IE? Are you sure it's Chrome doing it and not your internet connection?
