@jholler25: my mom is the same way (and is even from Louisiana!). We were talking about baby names (I'm not pregnant but hopefully will be in the not too distant future) and when I told her one of my favorite girls names is Brynn, she looked at me like I had two heads (and I don't even think Brynn is THAT weird!). So, I can totally relate. They will come around.

I like Harper if you have an awesome middle name. So something like Harper Jane Holler or Harper Lou Holler. I like Avery next best, sure it's popular right now but i say if you love it go for it. I have also loved the names Lark and Varick which are kind of on the tip you are going for. and i have a friend who named her daughter Dylan which is also cute. just thought i would throw them out there.

Avery Harper Holler
I cannot, as a Canadian in good conscience, ever vote for the name Harper as a name for a baby. But Avery is SUPER cute anyways - love it.

As far as a middle name, I'm looking into one syllable since there would already be so much going on...
Harper Zoe Holler?
Harper Grace Holler?
Would she just totally kill us over sticking the Zoe in there too?
DH said Harper Ayden but then her initials would be HAH!

@jholler25: I like Harper Grace much better... but that's Neil Patrick Harris' daughters name. lol
I kind of like Harper Rose. The double r flows really well, IMO.

@jholler25: Yep, his kids are Harper Grace and Gideon Scott. I agree with a one syllable middle name. My LO has a 2 syllable first and a 1 syllable middle too. I like the flow of that.

Well everyone, somehow we just found a middle name and DH said "I'm sold...Let's do it!". So I'm pretty sure we're having a:
Harper Sophia Holler!

Thanks, y'all!! DH and I cannot figure out why it works since it breaks all the rules, but we agreed that for whatever reason, it just DOES:)

I love the idea that some day your daughter will apply for a job, and her potential employer will google her name, and this thread will pop up So if you're reading this, and it's 2034, and you're interviewing Harper Holler, give her the job! LOL
