We woke up this morning to our heat pump masking an awful whirring noise and blowing cold air into our house. Of course, it's the first cold snap of the year and it was in the 20's. Now I'm waiting on the repairman to get here, with my one month old bundled up as warm as I can get her and my husband is at work. Argh! It's times like this that make me mis renting. I really hope it doesn't cost a lot to fix, especially because the unit isn't that old.

Just wanted to vent about it somewhere my mother won't see, because she'll tell me to pack up and head to her house and I can't/won't.
