I could do without this, it's so bad that if I walk past someone (or they come into my office) that hasn't washed their hair in two days I can smell the grease. It is so gross and I so hope it goes away soon!! I have four different bottles of scentsy at home and work, Ha!

Wow that is a heightened sense of smell!!!! I had major heightened sense of hearing & sound aversions. I could seriously hear DH bite his finger nails UPSTAIRS & it would make me instantly naseous! It did pass, so hopefully yours will too sooner rather than later!

When I was pregnant we had a smaller 4 door car (now we have a minivan) and my dog would always sit in the back seat and come up and breath in my face. It was awful, I'd always have to have my head hanging out of the window for fresh air but then he'd want to be near the open window too.

I could smell things a mile away, up until about 16 weeks. I still smell better than the average person, and I'm in the third tri! I had to stop going to my student's desks because I could suddenly smell their various body odors and their BREATH and it would make me gag.
It's much better now.

Mine is driving me bonkers right now. Any remotely bad smell makes my nerves on edge.

I can smell EVERYTHING. It's actually sort of impressive at this point.

I've always had a sensitive sense of smell so not sure if pregnancy affected it, but I've become super sensitive to sound. Anything loud makes me jump!

It was really bad in the beginning, then I stopped noticing it for a while. But I feel like it's kicked up again as I entered the 3rd trimester. Luckily, a lot of times it's like, ooh, someone who was in this elevator had the Gap perfume I used to like. Or, mmm someone is cooking hamburgers. In the beginning it was terrible though.
I also had the extra sensitive hearing-- even still, hearing people chew I want to be like, WHY are you CHOMPING on your food??? But, that would be rude. Still, it really sounds like some people must be chipping their molars the way they chew.

Sense of smell was my first clue that I was pregnant. It's crazy how sensitive I was!!

I've always had a more heightened sense of smell, but like previous posters, it's my hearing that is more sensitive. I feel so bad for yelling at DH for kissing the dog, but the sound is so, so gross and makes me want to vom all over the house.

My heightened sense of smell when I was pregnant was so crazy to me! DH and I would be out for a walk and I could smell the flowers at the house across the street. It was great for some things but horrible for others!

I am going through this right now! Last night our dog got sprayed by a skunk and I could smell it in our house WAY before DH could. He couldnt even smell it until he went outside to smell our dog lol.

I normally have a heightened sense of smell (sensitive to all perfumes/chemicals), so when I was pregnant my co-workers told me I had a bionic nose. I basically felt like I was going to throw up at any second, but some things smelled really amazing, too.
