I've been MIA for quite some time! I guess having a new baby will do that to you!
Just wanted to pop in and say hello and all is well!
I'll try to keep this in a nutshell
Landon was born on July 22, via emergency c-section. I was starting the induction process because of low fluid and a few iffy NSTs. His heart rate was all over the place pretty much right when we started though, so out he came! That night, he had to be transferred to another hospital because his heart rate didn't respond well to the abnormal breathing of a newborn. (It was dipping too low for their liking.) He was transferred around 2:30 in the morning. I was still pretty out of it, and this was a very weird time Luckily, he was allowed to come back to the clinic where he was born after 12 hours. The arrhythmia he had then is no longer found now. Although he does have 2 small openings that still need to close. They are tiny, and much smaller than they were at birth, and will be re-checked after he hits 6 months.
We are so in love with our little man, and still can't believe after 3 years of trying that we finally and actually have him! We are traveling to the US on Friday so he can meet his whole family! (I'm scared! lol)
I'm going to try and be more active on the boards again, but he doesn't allow me much spare time for getting on the computer
Here are some pics!
