Is there a way for me to essentially tag someone is a post? For example if I want to make sure someone gets a notification that I posted to them/about them... But they haven't commented on that thread yet so I can't reply.. Can I do that? Just typing the at sign and then their name doesn't do it I don't think.

@MamaMoose: I've manually done the @"name" and it's worked for me... or you can post on their wall with a link to the thread?

Hahaha it was a general question really. For example on the thread asking who you would want to meet in real life I was wondering if the people that got mentioned knew they were getting mentioned.

if you @ someone, they should get an email unless they have notifications turned off.
