Currently, DH and I remove our clothes and leave them all over the bedroom and bathroom floor until laundry day. DH sorts his into several piles including one for laundered (dry clean) shirts and he finally hangs up his suits-these get steamed at home. My sorting includes just a couple of piles and towels. When he is not looking I wash his stuff with mine, but otherwise he likes to keep it separate.

We have a three sorter hamper that is draped (not full) of clothes. We need help with organization. Our laundry room is small and unless we get a stackable or all in one washer/dryer we do not have space to sort there. We have space in the closet, bedroom, and bathroom for hampers.

Any advice as to how I can keep the floors free from clothing debris? Do you label the hampers?
