@Boogs: yes! I took another one this morning but it isn't any darker?! It was a rapid result (like the one above), but I just ordered some FRERs from Amazon that will get here tomorrow. I know a light line is still a line, but it's weirding me out that it's not getting darker...

@LatteLove: it's definitely positive! would you want to go to your doctor to get blood work? The Rapid Results have a lower sensitivity than FRER tests (i.e., you have to have more of the pregnancy hormone for the Rapid Result to show positive)...so that's a good sign.

@LatteLove: Hmm, not sure about this one. The new FRER's you ordered should show better if . Maybe you just need more time? Any idea how many DPO you are today?

@pregnantbee: honestly have NO idea how many DPO. My cycles have been 26-27 days since I had my son in Sept. 2014. (used to be 28-29). I haven't tracked ovulation at all in two years! but my last period was 1/15, so 27 days ago.

@LatteLove: Was it within the time frame?
I had a weird pink indent on a FRER recently about 30 minutes after I took it. I was not pregnant, but it had me really freaked out. I googled it (at the time), and found out other people had experienced this! Hoping it's not the case for you!

@LBee: yes, the pic was taken about 4 minutes after I POAS, and its been the same for three tests is a row (super light line), but it was rapid result, not FRER.
I'm going to take an FRER when they come from Amazon prime tomorrow! I wasn't expecting to be pregnant, so I think I'm okay either way, but I definitely feel off/pregnant so if it isn't real, I don't know what's been going on with me this week!

Don't worry now- it can take 2-3 days for them to get darker (not just one). Try again tomorrow!

Line still isn't getting darker, even on a FRER a day after the latest AF was due. I started feeling nausea last night and this morning - I am going crazy. what is going on?!
(I didn't edit this photo for contrast like the others... In real life it looks the same as the last two)

@LatteLove: You might have implanted late. Or. And I hate to even suggest this, but it could be a chemical.

@LatteLove: I'm sorry your lines aren't getting darker. Only time will tell, but I'm hoping for the best for you.

@pwnstar: that occurred to me today. Going to try to hold off for a few days testing and see - testing twice day has not been good for me emotionally!

@LatteLove: oh no! Fingers crossed its just a late implanter, especially if you're having symptoms.

I started bleeding this morning, so it looks like it was a chemical pregnancy. Not sure what to do next - should I call my ob?
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@LatteLove: I'm so sorry. To be honest, there isn't really a medical need to call your OB unless you are experiencing extreme abdominal pain or are bleeding a lot. It's technically just like a period after such an early loss. If it would give you peace of mind, definitely call. I am so sorry again.

@LatteLove: I'm so sorry . I was thinking with your lines it might head in this direction. I have had a number of chemical pregnancies and have always been told by my doctor to call if I am experiencing severe pain. Unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done. I would call next week though and have your chart noted that you experienced an early loss

@LatteLove: I'm so sorry. Like others have said, unless you're experiencing pain (or prolonged bleeding), there is nothing else to do but wait. Fwiw, I got pregnant the cycle after a chemical, and am now 13 weeks pregnant. Again, I am so sorry.

@LatteLove: I'm so sorry I had a chemical this week too and called my dr-- I was glad I went in for the reassurance that there was nothing I could have done, and she did some testing (u/s, bloodwork) though I don't know how necessary it was. She told me to wait a cycle before trying again
