C will be 9 months on Thursday, so DH and I have decided it's time to start seriously planning her first birthday. He's leaving justa couple short weeks after her birthday to go on deployment, so we want it to be extra special. (Plus, it's a 1st birthday! it should be special anyway!) We're going to host it in our home for about 40ish people, her birthday is the week after Easter at the beginning of April.

The problem... I have too many ideas!

Idea #1) Pretty in pink, burlap and lace theme- Pink and aqua, burlap, roses, fabric, etc. Lots of lace, ruffles. Really girly and feminine. I think it would be super cute for a spring party.

Idea #2) Rainbow/ "April Showers" theme- fitting because her b-day is in April. More "childish". It's cute.

Idea #3) Retro cherries/picnic theme- Red and aqua, red gingham and cherries. I love this one, but I think it's more of a summery theme. It will still be chilly in England in early April.

I'm leaning toward #1, but I'm being indecisive.
