I think this is why E has dropped all of her naps. She'll get to the point where she turns her head back and forth so much that she can't fall asleep. No advice just commiseration.

Sleep sack? White noise? A fan for more white noise? A little lovey? A binky?

Just listing out some of what we use to get a good night sleep. I don't have experience with teething yet, but I know that can be a mysterious time.

@Ash: We moved to a sleep sack that leaves E's arms free. And it's a cotton blend so it's not as hot as the one we had during the winter months. He is totally able to grab his feet and roll and stuff. But I think he likes the cozy feeling. You never know - I've been learning again and again to never count things out. Even if they don't like it one time, doesn't mean it might not be just the thing that works the second time around.

We introduced a lovey when we freed his arms at night. We were noticing he really liked to have a blanket to grab on to and we were fine with it during naps when we could monitor him. But at night we got a light, breathable, aden+anais lovey for him to cuddle with. It's been working really well.

The rolling and kicking - yeah - it's like they practice everything they learned that day and try to work on their skills so that they can be even more awesome the next day Even if it means mom and dad never sleep.

I wouldn't worry about the fidgety - unless you have heard from a doctor that it indicates something? Don't trust google doc
