I like birth in progress. many of the others (like birth day, L&D) i think can be a little confusing and would lead people to post non-labor posts about how to pack your hospital bag and other random L&D questions. but there's no mistaking birth in progress!

@pui: It was a tricky name, since it had to fit a lot of criteria (clarity, inclusiveness, etc.)... so we ended up going with a variation on 78H2O's suggestion:
