I've been reading for a while and am finally ready to join in, after a great anatomy scan yesterday! DH and I have been married four years, together for eight, and we're expecting our first baby, due January 26. I look forward to learning lots from you ladies and can't wait to get to know you all!

@Bao: I've heard of that happening! I was worried ours might, but luckily she didn't. Did you go ahead and find out with a later kiddo? My DH thinks we should find out when we have our second so we can experience it both ways.
@Blueberry: I definitely consider myself a planner but have always wanted to be surprised. I felt I could still plan without knowing the sex, since we wanted to keep gear gender neutral anyway.

@Bao: I can see the advantages to both ways. I've read that some people think knowing will make bonding to the pregnancy easier as well. I'm committed to green for this one but we shall see what the future holds!
