The kid is mobile! M went from rocking on all fours the last few weeks to crawling right across the room today. Now every time I leave the room she's somewhere else. Must.babyproof.now.

It's a little good news bad news with mobile babies. It's super exciting but at the same time.....ack tie down the furniture and put padding on all the corners. I'm in denial and haven't started baby proofing yet. I have so many little things everywhere.

@MrsF: This has been us for the last two weeks. She's into EVERYTHING! Every time I put her down she heads towards something dirty/hazardous/unsuitable. Seems flip flops, DVD players, wires etc are much more fun than all her amazeballs, colourful toys, ha ha.

This is why we were working on baby proofing tonight. What happened instead? DH was trying to get some unsafe socket thing out of the wall but messed it up and left exposed wiring hanging out of the wall. He also blew some fuses so now he is at Home Depot getting something to fix everything while I am sitting here in the dark, no tv or Internet of course. We are all much less safe than when we started this project. Not a good sign
