I am sad. I love this show. Can't wait to see how it ends though.

Me! I can't wait! I loved the show, but I think this season it really went down, so I'm just looking forward to seeing what happens and it ending so I dont have to follow it anymore. It's one of the last shows I still follow weekly.

@pmerr: Same here! But I can't watch it until AT LEAST tomorrow night. I'm going to have to not get on the internet, I think! (D works super late tonight--probably won't get home until 1:30-2am. Maybe tomorrow, too, and he'd kill me if I watched it without him).

I'm watching. This season has kind of been a letdown for me, but I'm exited to see how it really ends. I do think the mother is dead so I'm prepared for that to happen (but seriously what a depressing way to end a comedy!)

@LuLu Mom: I will agree. This season for the most part has been a huge letdown but I also have really loved bits and pieces. Glad that we got to see Ted and the Mother together some. But the whole slap episode had me wanting to just turn it off!

Even though the last couple seasons have been sort of "eh" for me, I am super emotional about it ending tonight! Did anyone see this awesome video of NPH and Jason Segel singing the Confrontation from Les Mis? Love them so much! http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20801608,00.html

We will be watching! We're both big HIMYM fans, and I'm sad that it's over, but I think it's time. I am kind of dreading it because I think the mom may be dead and I really don't want it to end that way.

I'll either watch it tonight or tomorrow (actually, there's a Celtics game on tonight, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to watch it). I'm excited and hope that the Mother doesn't die like some of the episodes have implied. BUT I'm also glad it's ending. The last few seasons haven't been as good for me, so I'm glad they're not dragging it out any longer. And this season has been pretty terrible in my opinion, but I'm still hopeful that this last episode is good!

I've actually never seen an episode but DH watches it so I think I'll watch the finale with him. I'll probably be totally lost, but maybe I'll read Wikipedia to catch myself up

I never really followed the show week-to-week until this season because it was ending, but I think it is a smart loveable show and I like how unique this last season is (the concept of it being just one weekend). I hope I'm not giving the writers/creators too much credit, but I think there will be some surprise that no one is expecting. I think the mother might be sick/dead, but I hope they wrap it up in happy/heartwarming way.

@Mae: i think she loves him, but all the points she made against marrying him made complete sense - except the point about how she should be with ted, because she doesn't love him. I feel like if she was my best friend I'd be struggling with whether to tell her not to go through with it! Just saying he won't lie to her when he had literally JUST lied about the locket, I don't know...
