I've made something like this before: http://www.marthastewart.com/972711/fresh-fruit-tarts but I think I did a cream cheese-whip cream combo. Easy, tasty, and looks impressive!

Neither of these are fancy or particularly decadent desserts, but just right after a big meal with coffee or tea.

I halve the recipe and make it in a loaf pan (its actually a little much for 1 loaf pan so I make a mini loaf or muffins with the rest of the batter). I also add poppyseeds to it. You can make a lemon juice/sugar glaze if you want it, but I just love it plain with some berries or whipped cream (or ice cream) and its so light and wonderful any time of day.

I also buy a pre-made graham cracker crust and make this pie and it always turns out fantastic:

1 pack oreos crushed in a processor
1 block cream cheese
mush together, make into balls

dip into candy melts or melted chocolate
allow to set
ta da

Have you ever made a Swedish apple pie? It's super easy and super delicious. You basically just have to cut up apples and pour an easy to make batter over them (just melted butter, an egg, walnuts, and some cinnamon and sugar). It bakes into a crust and it's so good! It's also good for a party because I find that most of my friends have never had it and are impressed by it!
