Husbands work has a holiday food week where people sign up to bring one item a day. My husband requested that I make sausage balls for his office, but someone already made them this week. I have all the ingredients so I'm looking for an alternative. Or, even better, permission to just make more sausage balls and not worry about it!

I say go for making sausage balls, but if you need a different idea . . .
We make these Sausage Poppers that are pretty yummy if you don't mind spicy. Get jalepenos (slice off the top and deseed), put some cheese inside, and then wrap sausage around the whole jalapeno. Then you bake them. I can't remember for how long, but it's probably similar to the same time for sausage balls. -
Sausage pinwheels? Mix sausage and cream cheese, spread over crescent rolls, roll it into a log and slice before baking.

You can do stuffing with sausage. It tastes particularly good when the sausage is sauteed in beer.

my Mom makes this cheesy bread stuff. Mix ground beef and sausage, velveeta cheese, some spices, and throw on some french bread and bake. So good!

I make these sausage wonton things - sausage, red pepper, cheese, ranch dressing. Let me know if you want the recipe!

Another bee on a different thread posted about the Hanky Panky. It's velveta and sausage baked over toast. A few others vouched for it's yumminess. I haven't made it yet myself.
