HA. Well, I doubt Holly is too worried about a resume since she was Hef's leading lady for quite some time and that doesn't require a "professional" resume
I must seem like the most BORING person ever with naming my kid Jacob!

I LOVE rainbows...a lot of dd's clothes are quite colorful...
But I still wouldn't name my kid that.

Oh my.. Not my first choice.
Perhaps she will follow her mother's footsteps and change her name once she's older?

@babyjmama: booooooring! Why didn't you swipe up "Rainbow" before Holly got it?
She is such a special lady...her poor kid. I'm hoping she'll go by Aurora.

@TurtleDoves: Right?! *yaaaawn. I think we'll put in for a name change. He's officially going to be "Rubbermaid Yellow" That's settled. I'm so glad I came to my senses!

@babyjmama: Some days I'm convinced that my LO is named "Dude." We spend most of the time calling him that instead of his name.

@cascademom: Awe yeah, J is generally called stinky britches. Somehow it just started and we've never stopped...maybe by the time he's in Kindegarten he'll know the difference

I totally love Holly.. I know it would be something different, but I thought it was going to be Daisy or something.. not Rainbow!

It's like she purposely gave her a name that would work for a pornstar or a playmate. Poor kid!

Not a fan. Although, I live in the very crunchy northwest and I've heard some doozies before so it could be worse.

@cascademom: maybe I'll name my baby after one of the Fraggles or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because when I think about quality baby names, I always think of television shows from the 1980's!

I like Aurora and Rainbow is kinda cute for a baby, but like thinking of suitable names for my own kids I keep thinking of when they get to 20 and have to apply for a job!

I have a family member named rainbow -- she's just about 12 or so now, she's a cutie and doesn't have any 'troubles' with her name! her parenst are super conservative people too, i guess they just liked the idea of 'promise' that goes along with the name that being said, the name is definitely not on any of my 'girl names' lists!
i LOVE aurora though! unfortunately dh has nixed it sob...

I read somewhere that she knew the name (still undisclosed at the time) would raise some eyebrows. Obviously it did!

Maybe they will call her Rain, that sounds better to me than Rainbow.

First thing that popped into my head was "and now dancing on stage #2is Rainbow" she will forever sound like a stripper to me. Hopefully she goes by Aurora once she's old enough to know better, poor kid!

I actually love the name Aurora because of Sleeping Beauty, but my husband said it is a stripper name thus we will never be using it. But tack Rainbow in front of it and it just takes stripper name to a whole new level.
@lawbee11: as long as you and Holly aren't close, personal friends I think you can totally still use it

I like what someone said earlier in a board that I read: "Can you imagine a 70 year old woman named Rainbow?" I feel kinda bad for her because I think that it's a very easy name to make fun of.
