We bought a house! Yay! We are having the inspection dome today at 4:30. It is an older home built in 1958, but super solid. Any questions we should ask specifically or advice?

Does it have a basement? If so, make sure there is proper waterproofing (sump pumps). Make sure the electrical has been updated. If it's on public sewage, get a sewer inspection!

Congrats! We didn't ask any prepare any specific questions for ours...luckily there were only minor electrical issues.

No basement. It's on a pier and beam foundation. Will ask about sewer!
