Good luck! Make sure you have a fire extinguisher in the house. That was the only specific thing they looked for at our house. The rest of it was just more general -is there a safe place for the baby to sleep, is the house reasonably well kept, are there any bodies of water nearby (pool), was there a crackhouse next door type of stuff.

Clean the house as much as you need to in order to feel comfortable, but know that they don't care. Offer a snack, but again, they don't care. Have a comfy place to chat and know that they'll probably talk to you together and apart.

Mostly they want to see that you are who you say you are.

Know that you'll be ridiculously nervous even though there is no real reason to be... And that's ok!

House clean but not "sterile" looking. Be prepared for tons of questions about your childhood, your current life and your reasons for adopting. Country-specific questions depending on where you're adopting from.
