A friend has requested no gifts for her 4yo. Instead she has asked for a painting or craft. Any good ideas of what my 4yo can make for her that won’t be thrown away?

A popsicle stick picture frame, a pet rock (paint a rock and put googly eyes on it). My son is really into calendars right now, maybe you could print out monthly pages and your child could decorate it?

Trinket box! Buy a wooden box at Michaels/MJ designs for $1-$5, and have your LO decorate it with paint, stickers, gems, etc. They make them with photo frame tops if you want to include a picture of your child and the birthday child.
