Any chance that someone in HelloBee world drives a 2010 Honda Pilot and has the Britax Marathon 70g3 car seat installed rear-facing? We installed it into the car yesterday and the tether straps are on each side of the car seat because the anchors are on the back of the seat. I can only imagine how easy and fun it will be to get a 14 month old with a winter coat on into the seat by sliding him under the tether straps. Is there another way to anchor it without having to have the two tether straps on each side of the carseat?

I think in that case, you should tether to a point on the floor on front of the seat.
Also, the tether is optional for rest facing, I think...check out the Britax you tube channel.

Rear facing tethering isn't required for a proper install. If you do want to tether it you can do so to the framing of the front seat, although I do believe Britax does allow tethering to the seat that it's installed on if necessary (ie. if in a 2 seat vehicle where it would be installed in the front seat sans the airbag).
