I don't know what kind of hair you have, but hair ties, headbands, hair clips...my bangs were just a little too long and kept falling in my eyes and making me nuts.

Also, chapstick. My lips were horribly dry by the end. And socks for you. My hospital room was freezing. And chargers.

I also brought my baby book so I could fill in things while they were still very fresh in my mind.

I'm convinced we will forget this, so just in case-- contact stuff if either of you wear contacts, plus your glasses. And your camera charger if that's not already included.

And I don't think you will need this while you are away from the apartment-- I think baby will understand and hang in there until you are resettled at home

Your list looks good! Like some PPs have said, I'd bring snacks and your own pillows. Our hospital had great food but it also took an hour to get it after ordering, so snacks came in handy! Also, these are totally not necessary but they made me feel better - face cleansing wipes. I just got the 97 cent travel pack of Ponds at Target.. I could barely shower on my own but felt so gross, and washing my face with these made me feel like a new person. The postpartum sweats are no joke!

Bring your own bath towel and pillow. The scratchy one from the hospital suuuucks. I also wore stretchy headbands every single day.

I have fuzzy socks with sticky pads on the bottom. They were great for the slick and cold hospital floors. I was pretty wobbly
