I am Supernanny's biggest fan! I love that she establishes House Rules from the get-go. I think it is good for kids to clearly know what is expected, why it is expected and what the consequences are if they don't obey.

I was thinking though, if you don't have a Supernanny style intervention with older kids, when do you introduce House Rules? Do you just always have them from when your children are little bitty, and they grow up with them? Or do you wait until they are old enough to understand and have a "family meeting" about them? I feel like the longer you wait, the harder they are to implement, but it seems kind of silly to post rules like "No Hitting" when your baby is 6 months old!
