Haven't had a chance to turn on anything but cartoons but reading about it online I had tears in my eyes. Mince everyone is asleep hoping to catch up!

Also- I had never heard of periscope before this and don't understand what it is. I'm old and out of touch.

I think it's wonderful they're doing it - I just hope it results in something actually getting accomplished.

Is there a list anywhere of the Congress members that are participating?

I haven't been watching but my Congressman is participating. My husband worked for him for nearly 20 years so we know him well...he took a photo on the floor with a couple others and I'm pretty sure it was taken with a selfie stick. Which brought me some amusement. I'm hoping some good comes from it.

My congressman is one of those posting on Periscope. So happy! It's tough because I live in such a democratic (low gun) area that I don't often feel like my voice matters. By I shared his post from the floor...
