We want to get a bigger TV! We currently have a 34 or 36 inch toshiba LCD that is about 5 years old. It's too small for our space!! There is currently a great deal at future shop on a 46 inch Samsung. I'm worried it wouldn't be big enough. Sounds insane. Haha.
What size is your tv? Are you happy with it? How big is your living room?

We have 56 inches in the living room (takes up most of one wall).32 inches In the bedroom.
I think 56 is a good size for an apt. I definitely wouldn't want any bigger.

We have a 46" Samsung over our fireplace. Hubs wanted to get the 55" but I felt like it would have overwhelmed the room.

We have a 42" in the living room which we received as a wedding gift 5+ years ago, which I think it's perfectly sized for our space. DH on the hand, complains that it is too small! We also have a 32" in the bedroom.

We have a 46" above our fireplace. I thought DH was crazy for wanting the 46", as I thought a 42" would be perfectly fine. The price difference was so minimal though that we went with the 46" and it works perfectly in the space. We've had it for three or four years now.

DH convinced me that he needed a 60" tv. We sit about 8 feet away from it. I used to think that was way too big but now that I've gotten use to it, it seems to be a good size.

60 inch from DH's bachelor days. I think it a too big, going to buy a 50 inch max when we find a house, depending on the space.

Lol. So about 10 minutes ago my phone rings. It's DH, "they have 6 left!!" He left work to go to the store. Clearly this is very important to him... So we now have a new TV! Hopefully it's big enough

We have a 55" in the livingroom, over the fireplace. The fireplace is really large and we have tall ceilings so it doesn't overwhelm the space. 32" (maybe 36", I'm not sure!) in the bedroom

We have a 47 inch 3D TV in the upstairs living room and a 50 inch in the basement.

@sslm: our space is not very big but the living room opens into the dining room and our ceilings are tall so the tv doesn't look too dominating.

We used to have a 46" and i thought it was perfect for our space, but then DH convinced me to get a 55" and now I think that is perfect for our space!
@sslm: when you set the tv up, make sure you play with the settings and turn off the smoothing setting if you think the picture looks weird. When we got our TV, every show looked like a soap opera because of some frame rate setting. Once we turned it off we liked our new tv a lot better!

We have a 60" in the living room and 47" in the bedroom. I used to think both were too big, but now I feel like they're good and it's hard to watch non-HD tv and small tvs. Ugh. DH wants a bigger TV too.

We have a 60 in the living room and I think it's perfect! I actually wouldn't mind it a little bigger. We used to have a 40 here and it was way too small. We sit about 15 feet from it.

We have a 60" tv in the living room. It's my husband's bachelor tv. I wouldn't mind it being a little smaller, but my husband would never go for that! Our living room is large, so it fits well in here.
